Selection Criteria
Applications are assessed by Swansea University’s International Scholarships team. Selection is based on demonstrated academic excellence or the potential to achieve academic excellence during studies at Swansea University. The scholarship form to be completed varies by the applicant’s country of ordinary residence — Africa, China, or Rest of the World — and applicants must submit the correct regional form. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once opened for each intake, and early application is encouraged as scholarship funds are limited. For the second-year undergraduate continuation award, eligibility is assessed automatically based on the student’s Year 1 average — no separate application is required.
