There are currently two categories of entrance scholarships available for Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters: the Douglas International Education Regional Entrance Award and the Dr. Guangwei Ouyang International Education Entrance Scholarship. In addition to these entrance scholarships, international students already studying at Douglas College may also qualify for continuing student awards, including the Douglas College International Returning Student Scholarship, additional funding to support participation in an approved international mobility/exchange programme, and an International Student Athlete Scholarship created to support the recruitment of international student athletes.

Douglas College, founded in 1970, is a public post-secondary institution in British Columbia named in honour of Sir James Douglas, the first governor of the province. It has two main campuses, in New Westminster and Coquitlam, along with smaller training centres in Surrey, Burnaby, and Maple Ridge, and educates close to 25,000 students per year. Douglas offers more Bachelor’s degrees and post-degree programs than any other college in British Columbia.
