The Skoll Scholarship is provided by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford Saïd Business School and is one of the most prestigious MBA scholarships in the world for social innovators. The scholarship provides funding for social entrepreneurs and changemakers who are interested in undertaking an Oxford MBA to enhance and broaden their skills for more effective social change. The scholarship recognises the financial strain the Oxford MBA may cause for those committed to social impact and innovation, and beyond financial assistance, scholars join the vibrant Skoll Scholar community an opportunity for lifelong learning and connection with other social innovators from around the world. To be considered, applicants must submit a complete MBA application and the Skoll Scholarship essay document by the January 6, 2027 deadline; the essay document is found in the ‘Funding’ section of the MBA application form.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following:
- Must submit a complete MBA or 1+1 MBA application to Oxford Saïd Business School
- Must have a strong track record in social entrepreneurship
- Must intend to continue creating positive social impact after completing their studies
- Must submit the Skoll Scholarship essay document found in the ‘Funding’ section of the MBA application form by January 6, 2027

Selection Criteria
The Skoll Scholarship is awarded to candidates with a strong track record in social entrepreneurship and a clear intention to continue creating positive social impact after their studies. Scholarship essays are reviewed after each MBA admissions stage. Applicants receive an update on their scholarship status shortly after admissions decisions are made. Final shortlisting takes place in late March, with shortlisted candidates invited to interview in April or May. Up to four scholarships are awarded annually.
