The Ca’ Foscari Honours Scholarships are merit-based awards offered by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice to support high-achieving international students enrolling in bachelor’s or master’s degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year. Since 2016, Ca’ Foscari has been providing targeted financial aid to outstanding international students to make studying in Venice financially manageable and academically rewarding. For the 2026/2027 academic year, the university is offering 8 Honours Scholarships for new bachelor’s degree students and 20 Honours Scholarships for new master’s degree students, each valued at €10,000 per year and renewable for the full duration of the degree. Students are not automatically considered a separate scholarship application must be submitted in addition to the degree admission application.

This scholarship will provide the following to its recipients:
- €10,000 per year for up to 3 years for new bachelor’s degree students (8 scholarships available)
- €10,000 per year for up to 2 years for new master’s degree students (20 scholarships available)
- Renewable each year for the full duration of the degree, subject to satisfactory academic progress

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be a non-Italian international student (EU or non-EU) with an entry qualification from outside Italy
- Must apply for a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme taught in English or Italian at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice for the 2026/2027 academic year
- Must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement in previous studies
- Must submit a separate scholarship application — admission to a degree programme does not automatically qualify a student for consideration
- Must fulfil all programme-specific admission requirements including language proficiency and required documents

Selection Criteria
Applicants are evaluated and ranked based on academic results, a motivational video, reference letter(s), and language certification. Bachelor’s and master’s degree applicants are ranked separately within their respective pools of eligible scholarship applicants. Scholarships are renewable each year for the full duration of the degree subject to satisfactory academic progress, and may be revoked upon withdrawal, transfer, or failure to meet academic progress thresholds.
