The University of Glasgow Global Leadership Scholarship is available to International and EU fee-status students starting a postgraduate taught Master’s programme in any eligible discipline for Academic Session 2026/2027. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fees discount for one year only and is not transferable to subsequent years of study. A total of 281 scholarships are available across a wide range of eligible Master’s programmes spanning disciplines including engineering, law, business, humanities, sciences, computing, social sciences, arts, and many more. Diplomas and certificates are not eligible for this scholarship only one-year, full-time, in-person Master’s programmes qualify, with the exception of the Book and Paper Conservation MPhil and Textile Conservation MPhil.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following:

  • Must demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours
  • Must hold an offer of a place for a full-time, one-year Master’s programme commencing in September 2026
  • Must have International or EU fee status
  • Must be enrolling in an eligible one-year, full-time, in-person Master’s programme (diplomas and certificates are not eligible; the only MPhil programmes eligible are Book and Paper Conservation MPhil and Textile Conservation MPhil)
  • Must be a national or resident of one of the eligible countries/regions listed on the official scholarship page

Selection Criteria
