The Ellison Scholars Programme is a flagship scholarship offered by the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) Oxford, providing fully funded undergraduate or doctoral study at the University of Oxford. The programme is designed to empower high-performing students to become scientific and technological innovators and leaders committed to solving humanity’s most challenging and enduring problems. All undergraduates funded by EIT are Ellison Scholars, while for doctoral candidates, the Ellison Scholars programme is one of several routes to EIT funding. Undergraduate Ellison Scholars pursue a fully funded degree in any discipline at Oxford while completing ten-week paid internships at EIT each long vacation (summer) between academic years, working on cutting-edge projects across EIT’s four Humane Endeavours: Health, Medical Science & Generative Biology; Food Security & Sustainable Agriculture; Climate Change & Managing Atmospheric CO2; and Artificial Intelligence & Robotics.
