The Abertay International Scholarship is an automatic tuition fee discount of up to £3,000 per year offered by Abertay University to prospective new international undergraduate and postgraduate taught students. No separate scholarship application is required all applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are automatically assessed for the award based on their application for study. If awarded, the scholarship amount is deducted directly from the student’s tuition fees and continues for each year of the degree, up to a maximum of four years, while the student is studying in Dundee. Students admitted with Advanced Entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme are also eligible for the award, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be classified as international (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University
- Must have met all the academic conditions attached to their offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student studying an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree on campus
- For postgraduate taught programmes: must be applying with the equivalent of a UK 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or better (approximately 60% and above)
- Students admitted with Advanced Entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme are also eligible, provided all above conditions are met

Selection Criteria
No separate scholarship application is required. All prospective new international students who apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree at Abertay University are automatically assessed for the Abertay International Scholarship based on their application for study. Eligible students who are awarded the scholarship will be notified by email following the issuance of their offer of study. Applicants are advised to check their inbox after receiving their offer of study from Abertay.
