Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be an international student applying through the official Study in Saudi Arabia platform
- Must create and complete a full profile on the Study in Saudi platform before submitting an application
- Must meet the academic admission requirements of the chosen programme and faculty at IAU
- Must meet English or Arabic language requirements depending on the medium of instruction of the chosen programme — most graduate and professional programmes at IAU are taught in English
- For fellowship programmes: must hold the relevant clinical or professional qualifications as specified by the programme
- Applications for Saudi Government Scholarships (if available) must meet the additional scholarship-specific eligibility criteria as published on the Study in Saudi platform

Selection Criteria
Applications are submitted and processed through the Study in Saudi Arabia platform. IAU reviews applications based on academic qualifications, language proficiency, and programme-specific requirements. For Saudi Government Scholarship tracks, an additional review is conducted based on financial need, academic merit, and alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 priority areas. Fellowship programme applicants are assessed based on their clinical and professional qualifications and experience. 5,587 students have already been accepted at IAU through the Study in Saudi platform, reflecting the university’s active international recruitment.
