The RSM International Full-time MBA Scholarships are offered by Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University ranked #1 Full-time MBA in the Benelux by the Financial Times in 2026 to support high-potential, early career professionals in pursuing their MBA in the Netherlands. All applicants who submit a complete online MBA application are automatically considered for scholarships by the RSM MBA Awards Committee; no separate scholarship application is required. Scholarships are granted in the form of tuition fee waivers applied to the final MBA tuition fee instalment. Applicants may optionally submit an additional scholarship essay of up to 500 words via the “Additional Documents” section of the online application, describing their alignment with one of the listed scholarships this is optional but strongly encouraged.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following:

  • Must submit a complete online MBA application to the RSM International Full-time MBA programme — all complete applicants are automatically considered for scholarships
  • Must meet RSM’s MBA admission requirements, including a Bachelor’s degree, professional work experience, GMAT/GRE/EA score, and English language proficiency
  • Alumni Lifelong Learning Award: Must be an alumnus of Erasmus University
  • RSM Fellows Award: By invitation only — recipients are identified by RSM based on exceptional profile; candidates cannot self-apply
  • Dean’s Assistance Award: Must demonstrate financial need and discuss financial circumstances with the regional Admissions Manager during the application process
  • Only one scholarship may be awarded per applicant

Selection Criteria

All scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the RSM MBA Awards Committee. The Committee evaluates candidates based on the overall strength of the complete MBA application, including the applicant’s essay(s), professional and academic profile, standardised test score (GMAT/GRE/EA), admissions interview, and overall assessment. Applicants who choose to submit the optional scholarship essay of up to 500 words — describing their alignment with one of the listed scholarships — are strongly encouraged to do so, as it provides an additional opportunity to showcase their achievements, values, and personal journey. Scholarship amounts vary by individual and scholarship type; all scholarships are applied as tuition fee waivers against the final instalment of tuition. Successful applicants are notified of their scholarship award alongside their final admissions decision.
