The Kipaji Scholarship Fund was established to support talented and academically outstanding students from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Other Low Income Countries on the DAC list who have the potential to study at the University of Twente but lack the financial means to do so. The scholarship provides additional financial support to students who are also awarded a University of Twente Scholarship (UTS), helping to make a high-quality education in the Netherlands more accessible to talented students from economically disadvantaged countries. Applicants cannot apply for the Kipaji Scholarship separately through the UT application system; instead, eligible candidates should indicate in their UTS motivation statement that they wish to be considered for the Kipaji Scholarship.
The University of Twente (UT) is a leading research university in Enschede, the Netherlands, known for its entrepreneurial culture, innovative approach to education, and strong focus on technology, engineering, and human-centered solutions.
