The Canadian National Railway Company (CN) Entrance Scholarships in Engineering are awarded annually to undergraduate students entering first year of the Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Software Engineering programs in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. This fund is made possible by a donation from CN to encourage the study of transportation and railway engineering. One or more scholarships, valued at up to $2,000 each, are available each year, and no separate application is required as students are automatically considered upon admission.
The University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Engineering is Canada’s largest engineering school, ranked among the top 50 engineering schools in the world. With over 10,900 students enrolled and external research funding exceeding $79.3 million, the Faculty offers 15 undergraduate programs and is renowned for its world-class co-op education program, in which 100% of students participate.
