The La Trobe University Early Acceptance Grant is a bonus grant awarded to international students who complete their admission process early when applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at La Trobe University. All eligible students who accept their offer by the specified intake deadline are automatically considered for the grant, with no separate scholarship application required. The grant amount is deducted directly from the first semester tuition fees as an upfront discount, except at the Sydney Campus where it is applied from the second semester. The grant is available across all La Trobe University Victorian campuses as well as the Sydney Campus, and covers both 2026 and 2027 intakes.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this grant, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to study in 2026 or 2027
- Must be a newly offered international student from 1st April 2026
- Must not be a humanitarian or other permanent visa holder
- Must be a full fee-paying student (non-sponsored)
- Must be applying for direct entry into one of the eligible courses; other students are not eligible
- Must commence studies at any of the La Trobe University Victorian campuses or Sydney Campus in 2026 or 2027
- Must meet all entry requirements and commence studies at any La Trobe University campus in Australia
- Students who receive a Conditional Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) will be considered eligible
- La Trobe College Australia (LTCA) packaged students (ELICOS, Foundation, and Diploma) are not eligible
- All students who accept their offer by the specified intake deadline, including those who have already accepted, are eligible

Selection Criteria
Selection is automatic and no separate application is required. All international students who apply for an approved undergraduate or postgraduate course at La Trobe University and accept their offer by the specified deadline for their intake are automatically considered eligible for the Early Acceptance Grant. Students may apply directly through StudyLink. The grant is awarded based purely on timely acceptance of the offer of admission, with no ranking or competitive selection process involved.
