The Rudderham Kennedy Family Foundation Scholarship for Women is awarded annually by the University of Waterloo to a full-time woman-identifying undergraduate student entering Year One of any program in the Faculty of Mathematics, including Computing and Financial Management but excluding Software Engineering, in which women are underrepresented. The scholarship is valued at up to $20,000 and is issued in eight equal instalments, one for each full-time academic term with a minimum of 2.0 units per term. Payments after Year One are dependent on the recipient continuing in good academic standing and remaining enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Mathematics. No application is required as eligible students are automatically considered at the time of admission. This fund was made possible by a donation from Richard Rudderham to encourage students to develop their love for mathematics.
