Seoul National University (SNU) offers three scholarship programmes for international undergraduate students who have already been admitted to the university. The Glo-Harmony Scholarship, funded by the Samsung Foundation, supports international students from developing countries listed on the OECD DAC list of ODA Recipients, providing full tuition exemption and a monthly living allowance for up to 8 semesters. The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Korean Government Support Program for Self-Financed Students supports self-financed international students in their second, third, or fourth year with approximately 6 million KRW over 12 months.

Benefits of the Scholarship
This scholarship will provide the following to its recipients:
- Glo-Harmony Scholarship: Full tuition exemption and 600,000 KRW per month living expenses for a maximum of 8 semesters
- Global Korea Scholarship (GKS): Approximately 6 million KRW (500,000 KRW per month) for a subsidised period of approximately 12 months
- Korean War Memorial Foundation Scholarship: Full tuition exemption, dormitory fees subsidised by SNU, and 500,000 KRW per month living expenses

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following:
- Glo-Harmony Scholarship: Must be an international student from a developing country included in the DAC list of ODA Recipients; must have been admitted to SNU as an undergraduate student
- Global Korea Scholarship (GKS): Must be a self-financed international student in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year at SNU; must have an overall GPA and previous semester’s GPA of over 80 out of a possible 100
- Korean War Memorial Foundation Scholarship: Must be a direct descendant of a foreign war veteran who participated in the Korean War

Selection Criteria
For the Glo-Harmony Scholarship, students submit applications to SNU’s Office of Global Affairs, which conducts the first selection; the Samsung Foundation then conducts interviews and makes the final selection. For the GKS, applicants submit documents to the Office of Global Affairs, which forwards them to the National Institute for International Education for final selection. For the Korean War Memorial Foundation Scholarship, applicants submit to their respective College, which makes the first selection, followed by the Office of Global Affairs, and finally confirmation by the Korean War Memorial Foundation.
