The RMIT Research Stipend Scholarships comprise two scholarship types available to research degree candidates at RMIT University: the RTP Stipend Scholarship (RSS), funded by the Australian Government, and the RMIT Research Stipend Scholarship (RRSS), funded by RMIT University itself. When an applicant applies for a research scholarship through one of the University’s rounds, they are automatically considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible. Scholarships are awarded through a highly competitive process, and all scholarship applicants must provide evidence of contact with a proposed senior supervisor at the time of submitting their expression of interest. Applicants are encouraged to begin the application process without delay as there may be strong competition for places in some of the research projects on offer.
